About
About ComposersCamp
Interactive music lessons that run in your browser: theory, composition and sound, learned by doing.
Mission
What ComposersCamp is
ComposersCamp teaches music theory, composition and sound through lessons you work through in the browser. You learn by writing on the staff, playing and listening, not by reading long pages of text.
Every exercise is checked the moment you answer, so you know right away whether you got it and can try again.
How a lesson works
Three stations per lesson
Station 1
Learn
A short slide deck. Each idea comes with an interactive example you can see and hear.
Station 2
Practice
Exercises on what that lesson taught, checked instantly. You write the answer on the staff, play it or pick it out by ear.
Station 3
Create
A small workshop where you use the lesson’s tools to make something of your own.
