Please read these terms carefully before using our platform
§01Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of ComposersCamp and outline the rules and guidelines for using our educational platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
§02Account Terms

§03Content Rights
Your Content
- You retain ownership of the content you create and submit to the platform
- You grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content for educational purposes
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
- Respect intellectual property rights and avoid plagiarism
§04Our Content
The lessons, exercises, practice generators, explanatory text, platform design and the order in which the material is taught are the work of ComposersCamp and are protected by copyright. A subscription gives you access to that material; it does not transfer ownership of it.
- The educational material — text, exercises, evaluators and example scores — belongs to ComposersCamp.
- So does the structure of the syllabus: how it is divided into modules, chapters and sections, and the order in which it is presented.
- The platform’s code, design, name and logos are ours as well.
- None of the above passes to you by taking out a subscription.
The public-domain musical works we use as examples (Bach among others) belong to nobody, and we do not claim otherwise. What is ours is the selection, the editing, the analysis and the teaching material around them.
§05Your Licence to Use
While your account is active we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access the content and use it for your own personal, non-commercial learning.
You may
- Study the content, work through the exercises and practise with the tools.
- Download or print occasional material for your own study.
- Use the compositions you create on the platform however you like, commercially included: they are yours.
You may not
- Copy, republish or distribute the content, in whole or in part.
- Use it to teach others, in classes, courses or academies, without a written agreement.
- Create derivative works: translations, adaptations or reworkings of the syllabus.
- Share your account or credentials to give other people access.
§06Automated Access and Data Mining
ComposersCamp is meant for people using a browser. Search engines and AI search assistants may crawl public pages, following /robots.txt, to index them and to show, quote or link them in their results. Any other systematic or automated extraction of the content is prohibited, whatever the technique.
- Scraping, crawling, spidering or bulk downloading, other than the search indexing described above.
- Extracting or reusing substantial parts of our lesson and exercise databases.
- Using the content to train, fine-tune or evaluate artificial intelligence models.
- Circumventing access or rate limits, or technical protection measures.
Text and data mining reservation
ComposersCamp expressly reserves text and data mining rights over all of its content, under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions. The reservation is also declared in machine-readable form at /.well-known/tdmrep.json and in the TDM-Reservation HTTP header. Any use of the content for model training requires prior written permission.
§07User Conduct
You agree to use our platform responsibly and respectfully. The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
- Sharing inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Using automated tools to scrape or collect data without permission
§08Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms:
- Immediate termination for serious violations
- Temporary suspension for minor violations with opportunity to appeal
- Permanent ban for repeated violations
